Suzen Azzopardi, the creator of Zen-Su, started dancing as a three year old, and has always been facinated with movement, performance and alternative therapies.

From the age of 16 Suzen started to question life and look deeper into Eastern philosophy, health, healing and well-being.

She went on to study a Bachelor of Arts in drama and dance at Rusden, Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. As part of her course Suzen decided to do a research project on meditation and creative movement called "Soul Dance." With an interest also in tactile therapies, Suzen began to create a her own intuitive system of massage, breathing, and colour therapy.

This was the beginning of the creation of the "Zen Su" signature treatment. Zen Su covers body therapy, movement therapy, creative awareness and overall self empowerment.

Over the years Suzen furthered her studies in Reiki, specialised body treatments, and remedial massage.

Suzen travels the world offering private workshops, various programs for corporate groups, treatments and movement classes.

"I come from a very loving heart when offering my work and this intuition is allowing my hands to lead the treatment for the highest good of all. There are many more components. I do find it difficult to put words to it as my hands lead the way and it's about the feeling more than the words..."

With her partner Johannes and son Indigo, Suzen is currently restoring a farmhouse in the mountains of Bulgaria, which will eventually be a site for Zen Su retreats and workshops. Suzen and her family divide their time between Bulgaria and Central Europe, and Australia.

Wherever she travels, Suzen brings her learnings and practices, massaging and conducting classes and workshops in private homes, community centres, at festivals, markets and resorts.

“Suzen seemed to naturally tap into my deepest needs. It felt as though she was stripping away physical tension and emotional waste, layer after layer.”
